Sweet Update

Hello Everyone!

It has been a while hasn't it?
Sorry for our inactiveness!
Vi & I been busy with college life and personal stuff. And when summer came along, I ended up traveling the whole summer.
Four states, three countries later & can't come up a number of cities later, I am back home.
With a refreshed mind and new perspective on things, I decided it's time to dedicate my free time to blogging/reviewing again. I decided not to work this semester after a terrible interview experience (-insert big successful company here- never contacted me back) and I wanted to spend more time on myself because I never had that time before!
We apologize again for leaving everyone hanging and are ready to blog again!
I have attached some photos from my summer vacation below, so enjoy! :)

SWEET HAULS: SPRING SPLURGE

Hello Everyone!
Happy Thursday!

I think for the last few weeks or couple of months, makeup stores and brands are throwing sales at us! And obviously I couldn't resist.
I think I may have over purchased/bought quite a few things but I can use them as gifts since I have a lot of friends with birthdays coming up.
Mini Haul

Above, you can see I bought the new Urban Decay Naked Skin One & Done from Sephora during the VIB sale. I also received my mini Marc Jacobs Birthday gift from them as well. (Yes I am one of those April babies... >_<) Super stoked to try this weekend!
I also purchased some Too Faced Sweetheart Blushes, a Real Technique lip brush and Urban Decay Sheer Revolution Lipsticks in 5 different shades during their 21 days of Beauty sale!  HUGE Splurge on Ulta but I still have no regrets!! I will certainly be posting a review on them :)!
From Walgreens I purchased quite a few of their MegaLast lipsticks, LA Girl Concealer, the new Milani 2 in 1 Foundation & Concealer and their translucent powder!
Not pictured is my order from Tarte Cosmestics during their Friends & Family sale! I wanted to try their new Double Duty Collection so I purchased the Ulta's Tarte exclusive Beauty 101 Discovery Kit to try out some of their new products. I fell in LOVE with their new lip sculptors. Thus, I decided to order a few more shades from their sale!

I am looking forward to Ashley Tisdale's new makeup collection with BH Cosmetics in May of this year. Ever since I found it, I been DYING to try it out.

I will surely post a review soon about my recent purchases!
Happy Shopping Everyone!

Love,

Jenn

SWEET FIRSTS: BURBERRY

Hello Everyone!

It has been a while hasn't it?
Sorry that life happened, especially being a college student.
But we're back & better than ever!

Here is my long awaited post about Burberry!

To be more exact; I tried 3 Burberry Kisses & 1 Burberry Kisses Gloss from them.
First impression, their packaging is freaking amazing.
I love the magnetic clip for the Kisses lipsticks. And can we just drool of how nice & elegant it looks?
It's sleekness is a plus.
Left to Right: No.69 Golden Peach, No.120 Festive Gold, & No.73 Bright Coral

And here is a photo of the Kisses Gloss.
No.109 Military Red
I'll start off talking about the gloss.
I tried it on for 2-3days and I was sadly unhappy with it, especially that I spent a whopping $29 on it. The scent was unnoticeable.
As for the formula, it is really opaque and not sticky (plus). But a few layers will get your desire color. I don't know if it was because of me, but it went on unevenly on my lips. Regardless of how hard I tried to even it out, it never worked out.
After having it on for an hour or so, I had to constantly reapply the gloss and it just frustrating for me. I gave up after reapplying it 3-4 times and switched to another gloss.
I was highly disappointed. I probably will retry the gloss on top of the Lip Kisses instead and I hope it'll make a difference.

As for the Lip Kisses, I am definitely in love.
Although there is a slight scent, it is bearable! It isn't as strong nor does it smell bad. I like it :)
As for the pigmentation, highly recommended. It goes on smoothly and 2 layers of it, will definitely give you that full coverage. And can we talk about the infamous Burberry print on the lipstick as well? It's beyond gorgeous.
My favorite is No. 73 Bright Coral.
No. 73 Bright Coral

It goes on smoothly and it feels great! It is creamy & wonderful!
I highly recommend it if you want to splurge a little :) #TREATYOURSELF.

Don't worry, I will post the swatches Thursday: April 14, 2016

But if you do want a save a bit & you live within a city that does Curbside with a Westfield shopping center that has Sephora or Burberry! Use the promo code to save $10 on your order for it to get it for $19 than the original price of $29. Or buy it when Sephora has a VIB sale :)!
Just like this week till the 13th!
15% off your order! :)

Happy Late Tuesday Everyone!

I apologize once again for the late post!
We will get back into blogging stealz & awesome makeup!!
Promise!!

Love,

Jenn

Keurig® K15 VoxBox!

Hi everyone!

Sorry for not posting in such a long time. School took over my life with finals, but now that spring break is here, I can start posting again!

Luckily, before finals, I received the Keurig® K15 VoxBox! Thanks to this little guy, I was able to get by during finals week! Several cups of coffee were easily made and consumed within one week because of the Keurig K15.

I first had to set up the machine, which was a breeze. I took the machine out of the box and followed instructions to prepare the machine for use, which required me to run the machine without any k-cups inside. It was a very easy process and did not require much effort.

I like how little effort it takes to make a beverage with this machine. I can just add cold water to the top, which has little steps inside to indicate how much water you have poured--6, 8, or 10 ounces. Then, I would need to lift the silver handle in the front to drain the water into the machine and insert my k-cup. After that, I wait for all the water to drain, close the front up, and press brew. After about 1 to 2 minutes, my beverage is ready! The whole process was quick and easy, which is good for those who are pressed for time and needs their coffee ASAP!

One of the features that I like about the K15 is that you can take the drip tray out of the machine to accommodate bigger cups, mugs, etc. I do have taller containers that I want to use to hold my beverages and taking out that drip tray made it fit, so I didn't have to go out and buy shorter cups to hold beverages made from the K15.

As for the drinks, I really enjoy the k-cups for the Green Mountain coffee. I think that it is quite comparable to Starbucks' coffee, which I also enjoy. I was craving some iced coffee from Starbucks, so I tried to make it with Green Mountain's k-cup and I was amazed. It tasted almost like the iced coffee from Starbucks! I know that k-cups are meant for one time use, but I tried to see how many times I can reuse the k-cups for. I have tried to reuse the k-cup 3 times. On the third time, it did not taste very well, so I recommend only using the k-cup twice. Using the k-cup for the second time will not have a strong flavor compared to the first brew, but it still tasted good in my opinion.

As for the black tea from Celestial Seasonings, I did not enjoy the taste of it when I first brewed a cup to drink. However, I will try to experiment more with the black tea and see if I can make it taste better because I do enjoy black tea from different boba places!

As for the Swiss Miss milk chocolate k-cups, the box said that 6 ounces of water is recommended for making the hot chocolate. I totally forgot about that when I tried to make the drink and used 8 ounces of water, which tasted nasty. It was very watered down and did not taste good. I had to dump the drink in the drain after a few sips. I have yet tried making hot chocolate with 6 ounces, but when I do, I will update you guys!

Overall, I love, love, love the Keurig K15 and I recommend it to those who are looking for a coffee machine! It reduces my time of making coffee, tea, hot chocolate by a lot because I don't have to boil water, the machine will do it for me! It is also very easy to make drinks with this machine and it can be very versatile. You can use the My K-Cup reusable filter to brew your own coffee if you do not like any of the k-cups that are sold or just want to save money by using your own coffee grounds. You can also buy different k-cups that are available to make different beverages that you desire. :)

I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.
